Ingredients:
10 to 12 Cleaned Jackfruit Seeds
1 Shallot
2 to 3 Garlic Cloves
1 Small Stump Leeks
2 Tsp Olive Oil
1 Small Cube of Butter
50 Grams Sago
1/2 Tsp Sugar
1 Cup of Vegetable Stock
Salt to taste
Soak the sago in normal water for around 20 to 30 minutes.
In the meantime, boil the Jackfruit seeds and peel them. Make a paste out of them.
Heat the oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic, chopped shallot and leeks.
Sauté on a simmer flame and add the Jackfruit seed’s puree.
You may also add vegetable stock.
Boil the soup on a simmer flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add sugar and salt to taste.
Finally add the soaked sago in the soup.
Simmer for another 5 minutes.
Serve the soup hot in soup bowls and garnish with parsley and thin slices of Jackfruit seeds.
