STEAMED MACKEREL FISH WITH CHILLI AND GALANGAL


 Ingredients:
2 Mackerel Fish
4 to 5 Fresh Red Chillies
1 Small Fresh Piece of Galangal
1 Lemon
1 Tsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Rice Wine
1 Small Bunch Coriander leaves (Cilantro)
Salt to Taste
1 Banana Leaf











Clean the Mackerel and remove the stomach. Put deep cuts on either sides of the fish.Marinate it with fresh galangal., fresh red chilly. sesame oil, rice wine and lemon juice. Marinate it for 15 to 20 minutes. 


Place the fish on one side of banana leaf and cover it. Place it in the steamer and steam it for 20 to 25 minutes until cooked.
